Buderim

Walk: Buderim Forest from Lindsay Road to Quorn Close.
Length: less than 1km.
Time: about 20-30 minutes.
Footpath: concrete and boardwalk (a couple of creek crossings). For the exact path location see the Buderim Forest Park map.
Wheelchair friendly: yes.
Dog friendly: no.
Views: subtropical rainforest, waterfalls and clear water creeks.
Extras: there are viewing decks scattered along the walk offering the best possible views of the forest's natural beauty.

Caloundra

Walk: Eleanor Shipley Park (Moffat Beach) to Kings Beach. Note: there are a few hilly ascents.
Length: 3.2km.
Time: 2 hours.
Footpath: concrete (some sand patches).
Wheelchair friendly: yes.
Dog friendly: yes, on lead.
Views: King's Beach headland, ocean views, rocky outcrops.
Extras: there are numerous landscaped parklands along this walk, some with kids play areas and toilets. There is also a war memorial and various lookouts over the ocean. Once in Kings Beach there are shops, cafes and restaurants.

Coolum

Walk: main street Coolum to Pt. Perry lookout.
Length: less than 1km.
Time: 20-30 minutes.
Footpath: boardwalk.
Wheelchair friendly: yes.
Dog friendly: yes, on lead.
Views: over the Coolum headland and ocean from the designated lookouts and of Coolum main street.
Extras: the main street of Coolum is populated with shops, cafes and restaurants.

Mooloolaba

Walk: end of Mooloolaba Esplanade to Mooloolaba Lighthouse.
Length: 2.25km.
Time: 1-1 ½ hours.
Footpath: concrete (some sand patches).
Wheelchair friendly: yes.
Dog friendly: yes, on lead but there are restrictions. See the Sunshine Coast Regional Council website for more details.
Views: of Mooloolaba Esplanade, Mooloolaba Beach and Mooloolaba Spit woodlands.
Extras: Mooloolaba Esplanade is a cosmopolitan mecca with cafes, shops and restaurants. This walk passes by the iconic Loo With A View and goes out onto the rock wall to the lighthouse.

Noosa

Walk: Noosa River to Noosa Spit via Noosa Sound and Hastings Street.
Length: 6km.
Time: 2-3 hours.
Footpath: concrete.
Wheelchair friendly: yes.
Dog friendly: yes, on lead.
Views: over the Noosa River, along Noosa Sound, Noosa Beach and Noosa Spit woodlands.
Extras: Gympie Terrace and Hastings Street is home to a number of riverside and beachside cafes, restaurants and take-aways ideal for an after walk coffee and cake, light dinner or take-away fish and chips.
