TANGENTYERE COUNCIL ALICE SPRINGS
Tangentyere Council is a community controlled Public Benevolent Institution delivering human services and social enterprise activities for the benefit of Aboriginal people from the Town Camps and Central Australia.
First incorporated in 1979, the organisation was a finalist in the 2016 Reconciliation Australia, Indigenous Governance Awards and is currently the 8th largest Aboriginal Corporation in Australia.

ASSISTANT ACCESS TO EDUCATION MANAGER
Level 7.1 ($86,585) per annum
12 Month Contract
Tangentyere's Access to Education (A2E) Division aims to make a positive difference in the quality of life for the children, families and communities of the Alice Springs Town Camps and the wider Alice Springs community through the provision of a wide range of high quality, evidence based services and programs that focus on increasing family and community wellbeing, community empowerment and fostering youth development and engagement.
Key areas of operation include: Safe Families Residential Care Intensive Family and Parenting Service Kinship Care Program Community Centres Youth related services (including 3 Brown St) Digital Access
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for supporting and developing service delivery of programs to ensure achievement of strategic and operational results. The Assistant Manager will help to ensure that important strategic relationships with key decision makers from relevant government and non-government organisations are built and maintained, along with helping to ensure that major contracts are negotiated at a senior level with relevant external stakeholders.
