Reporting to Laboratory Manager, in this role you will be required to perform a range of significant research-related activities that play a key role in supporting the provision of structural and materials testing and associated data acquisition.
As the successful candidate, you will be managing a significant research facility, responsible for providing specialist advice, training of staff and students in servo hydraulic control systems, performing calibration and linearisation of all equipment necessary to perform experimental research. Report writing, analysis of results along with the responsibility of writing customised computer programs to automate and control test procedures will also be a requirement within this role.
To be successful in this role, it is important that you have excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to use high level analytical and diagnostic skills. Demonstrated leadership skills, as well as excellent communication and organisation skills, will also assist you to succeed in this role.
