Steph has world at her feet

Stephanie Kutty.
NOT only is Sunshine Coast beauty Stephanie Kutty well on the way to becoming a doctor, she has just been crowned Miss University Australia.
It guarantees the 19-year-old, who is completing a biomedical science degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast, is in for a busy March.
Not only will Stephanie head to China to contest the world Miss University title, she will return home just in time to sit for her Australian Medical School admission test ... unless she wins the world crown, which would make things complicated.
That would require her to stay in China a few extra days and miss the medical school exam.
International exposure or a career in medicine?
It’s a tough choice and Stephanie admits she doesn’t know which she would choose.
“I’m really not sure – I’ll wait and see what happens,” she said from her family home in Rockhampton.
At the moment, the young woman with Fijian, Indian, Irish, Chinese and Burmese heritage, is still coming to terms with her big win.
Amazingly, it came just two days after she made a last-minute decision to enter the online quest.
A model with Coast agency Serena’s Image, Stephanie is a familiar face in fashion parades around the region.
“I really enjoy photographic modelling, as well as glamour and high fashion,” she said.
“I hope it (Miss University) gains me more experience and more modelling jobs.”
Stephanie has lived on the Sunshine Coast since 2008 and said she loves everything about its laidback lifestyle.
She is a regular at Mooloolaba Beach and loves the tourist strip’s coffee shops.
“My boyfriend is a cyclist, so we sometimes ride in from Sippy Downs for coffee and then ride back again,” she said.
“I love it here.”
