IT was unannounced, unexpected, and unbelievable. The Paul Colman Trio played a special Sunday night show to cap off an amazing Easterfest 2009.

After already blowing away the crowd the previous night at the Telstra mainstage, Paul Colman and his trio appeared on stage without warning, and proceeded to play an amazing encore' performance that had the crowd in fits of excitement.

While their instruments may have all been acoustic, the noise and the energy coming from the three musicians filled the big top tent and attracted many a casual passer-by to see what (and who) was making all the commotion.

As the set drew to a close, Paul Colman dropped a bombshell, confirming a reunion world tour would hit the road some time in 2010.

Needless to say, the crowd went wild.

Then, just as the three had taken their final bows, the crowd once again roared to the tune of "One more song!", which the trio graciously, and magnificently, relented to.

Here are some pics from a great show.
