THE damage bill left behind by Mackay's alleged drive-by vandals could reach $100,000.
David Roberts, Michael Dos Santos and Brian East were not required to enter pleas to 48 charges of causing wilful damage when they faced the Mackay Magistrate's Court yesterday.

Police will allege that over two weekends there were 48 instances of vandalism caused by people in a car driving around northern suburbs.
Bricks were thrown at parked cars, smashing windows and denting panels. There also was one instance of a beer bottle being thrown from a moving car into the parked vehicle.
Most damage was at Bedford Road, Andergrove Road, The Barons Drive, Maple Drive, Nadina Street, Phillip Street, Eaglemount Road, Mansfield Drive and Slade Point Road.
Police received nine reports of cars being smashed on Sunday, October 28, and it rose to 15 by the next morning. One weekend later police received another 33 complaints. In court yesterday two men were represented by Legal Aid Queensland and one had a private solicitor to appear for him. Their cases were adjourned to December 15 and they were granted bail.
