Santa Claus is coming to town

1st December 2008

Santa arrives at Kawana Shoppingworld.

IT'S that time of year again when Santa Claus is making his list and checking it twice.

But although this is the business end of the season for the man in the big red suit he has already visited the Sunshine Coast Mail Centre to pick up his letters and is making himself available for children and visitors at the major shopping centres.

Before the weekend, the jolly fellow arrived to much fanfare at Kawana Shoppingworld and Sunshine Plaza where he has taken up residence until Christmas Eve.

This year, Santa has gone troppo at Kawana where customers are invited to help him celebrate by coming dressed in their best beach gear.

On Saturday, he added Stockland Caloundra to his itinerary, where his helpers handed out balloons and prizes.

He will be available for children to sit on his knee and tell him their wishes right up until their last big sleep before Christmas Day.

Santa will also visit Nambour Shopping Centre from today to Christmas Eve from 10am-2pm daily, except for Thursdays when he will sit from 10am-1pm and 3-6pm and Sundays from 10am-1pm.

On the northern end of the Coast, Santa will make a special appearance at Noosa Junction Plaza for breakfast at 8am on December 20.
