Receivers for ABC Learning say they expect to announce details of a review of 386 childcare centres this week.
The nation's largest childcare provider went into receivership last month after registering debts of more than $1 billion.
McGrathNicol receiver Chris Honey last week said 656 ABC Learning centres would continue to trade as normal after December 31 under a "sustainable business model".
But he also released a list of 386 centres that are under review.
McGrathNicol spokesperson Angus Trigg said the next update was on schedule for release this week.
"We don't have a specific timing yet," Mr Trigg said.
"I guess you could say it (the review) is well under way."
