FEEL the beat, tap to the rhythm, or just sit back and enjoy the performance when the Julie Ross Dancers present - The Splendour of Dance this Saturday in the Sawtell RSL Princess Room from 2pm to 7pm.

Exploring many aspects of dance, the Julie Ross Dance Studio students aged from three to 20 years (as well as some talented adult students) will strut their stuff in an entertaining exhibition. A team of six experienced teacher/choreographers have dedicated many hours to ensure the students are rehearsed and ready for their final performances of the year.

The stars of tomorrow are costumed by Deb Rae in dazzling sequins, flowing gowns, ballerina and contemporary outfits which all add to the colour and spectacle of the performance.

Expect to see a variety of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and hip hop styles.

Audience members may recognise a few faces from the recent Coffs Harbour Musical Comedy Company's production of 'Hello Dolly' as they take to the stage as guests artists.

Nine of the studio students recently performed at the Jetty Memorial Theatre as the dancing ensemble in 'Hello Dolly' which was choreographed by Julie Ross.

The famous 'waiter' scene was a show stopper at the Jetty Theatre and will no doubt prove to be just as entertaining in Splendour of the Dance.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 concession and $10 for children
