The Skeeter BREAM Classic Grand Final 2008
- 23rd September 2008
VISITORS to the Clarence River will notice something fishy in the air between November 7-9, when Australia’s best anglers will cast their lines for the biggest bream in the 2008 Skeeter BREAM Classic Grand Final.
After a gruelling 30 qualifying heats, competitors will be scaled down to the top fishing duos, who will battle it out for the title of Australia’s best breaming team.
Enticing the bream with only artificial lures, the competitors have two sessions over the weekend to catch the cautious fish before the all important weigh-in.
Spectators can watch with baited breath as the anglers submit their catches with the hope that it is good enough to snag the grand prize: a brand new Skeeter SX170, the ultimate sports fishing boat.
Sponsors will also be on hand to entertain fishing fans with displays of boats and other angling paraphernalia.
To view quality fishing at its finest, head down to the Clarence and witness the exhilarating drama of man vs. bream – you’ll be hooked!
