The Beijing Olympics will be officially opened at 8.08 tonight, at least six children from the Darling Downs will turn eight and Sharna O'Brien and Donovyn Alexander will be married at 8 o'clock tonight.
Having the number eight recurring in your life path profile holds great physical and spiritual meaning, according to Toowoomba psychic medium and life path specialist Ryll Childs.

One of the birthday girls, Eden Buckley, said she hoped to stay up to watch the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics tonight.
“I can't wait to watch the opening ceremony on TV because it will feel like everyone will be celebrating my birthday with me,” Eden said.
The opening ceremony begins at 8.08pm (about 10.08 Eastern Standard Time) which is to ensure the Olympics will be prosperous and lucky.
According to Chinese astrology, numbers have significant meaning to words which have similar sounds. Eight in Chinese sounds like the Chinese words for “prosper” or “wealth”.
