TOOWOOMBA residents will be able to get in touch with their spiritual selves when the popular Australian Psychic Expo starts today.

Organiser John Gold said the expo was always popular in Toowoomba with more residents turning up every year.

“Since we started in 1994, there has been a big change. People coming along were a bit embarrassed. Now there are more people embracing the expo,” Mr Gold said.

“When we started, only one per cent of men would come and that has now grown to 25%.

“There is just so much to see and do. Our readers (psychics) are always one of the most popular parts of the expo.”

Entry to the expo, which runs until Sunday, is free. It is held daily at the City Golf Club, 254 South Street, Toowoomba from 9am to 7pm.

There will be 12 highly experienced psychics specialising in a wide range of psychic modalities such as tarot cards, palmistry, numerology and astrology.

The expo will have stalls including crystals, magnetic healing jewellery, healing and massages.

There also will be free workshops available at 12.30pm. For more information visit  www.expo.net.
