Coffs Coast fishing
- 26th May 2006
GRAB a rod or a line and choose from beach, river, deep sea or estuary fishing along the Coffs Coast.
Charter a boat, throw in a line off the beach or visit the largest protected marine area in New South Wales - Solitary Islands Marine Park.
The marine park is a small group of islands, stretching for about 75 km along the Coffs Coast, from Muttonbird Island in the south to Plover Island in the north. Recreational fishing is permitted in many areas of the park, but check the zoning before you go.
Join a fishing tour for a half day, full day or overnight trip featuring reef, deepsea, sport or game fishing. Alternatively, check the tides, pack the kids and a few lines, and stop at the local bait shop for an afternoon of beach or estuary fishing.
