Clifford Gardens

Clifford Gardens is a single level shopping centre located 1.5 kilometres west of the central business district in Toowoomba. Conveniently located, the centre has access from two major roads: James Street and Anzac Avenue.

The centre offers Big W, Woolworths Supermarket, Supa IGA, Best & Less, and 83 specialty retailers and services including Clifford Gardens News, Terry White Chemist, Australia Post and Medicare.  The 350-seat eatery caters to most tastes and includes McDonalds, Red Rooster and Subway.

There are over 1400 carparks including some undercover, parents with prams parks, disability and quick shop parking.

Toowoomba shoppers now have more choice as Clifford Gardens Shopping Centre opened stage one of its $11.5 million development in September 2008.

This included five new specialty stores, a new taxi rank and upgraded parking facilities.

Gardentown

If you're in the market for gifts, Gardentown, on the corner of Margaret and Victoria streets, has over 40 stores offering a range of giftware for all ages and tastes.

The food court has a variety of sit down or takeaway meals from eight specialised cafes and takeaways.

Gardentown has more than 50 specialty stores over two levels, including Lincraft, Best & Less, Loot Homewares, Jetset Travel and Australia Post. These are supported by a competitive Supa IGA Supermarket and the convenience of 720 car parks.

Grand Central Shopping Centre

Grand Central Shopping Centre, on the corner of Margaret and Dent streets, is the premier shopping centre within the Darling Downs region. The metropolitan flavour of the centre appeals to the whole family and Grand Central has a diverse range of fashion outlets.

Grand Central features Myer, Target, Coles, Birch Carroll & Coyle cinemas and approximately 145 specialty stores.

Kmart Plaza

The community focussed Toowoomba Kmart Plaza is located at the southern end of the city on the corner of Ruthven and Stenner streets.

The centre features one of only two Coles Supermarkets in Toowoomba, plus a Kmart and a Kmart Tyre & Auto. In addition there is a varied mix of 27 specialty stores including banks and ATMs, newsagency, chemist, Michel's Patisserie, ladies fashion and accessories, Mr Minit, optometrist, a real estate agency and bottle shop.

The centre is located on one level and has 1000 car spaces including shaded parking as well as disabled access and parent-friendly facilities. For those who don't drive, many local 'over 50s' villages run a door-to-door bus service to the centre.

Wilsonton Shopping Centre

Clive Berghofer's Wilsonton Shopping Centre is located at 407 Bridge Street, Wilsonton.

Originally built in 1976, additions were made in 1996. The centre is now 9000 square metres with a total of 850 car parks. Some parks provide direct undercover access to Woolworths, while the remaining open air parks provide easy access to the 65 specialty stores.

Wilsonton Shopping Centre also has a Woolworths Plus Petrol outlet and is home to the popular Wilsonton Undercover Markets which are held each Sunday.
