The 73rd Maleny Agricultural Show will be held on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 May, 2010.
FROM woodchopping events to Sideshow Alley, showjumping and ute musters, the 2010 Maleny Agricultural Show will have something for everyone when it is held in Maleny in the Sunshine Coast hinterland on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 May from 8am.
For 73 years, the annual Maleny Agricultural Show has been drawing crowds from far and wide with its variety of pavilion displays, events, competitions, stalls, animals, produce and music.
This year is no different. This year's show is jam packed with events such as the gumboot ironman and Battle of the Bands, competitions including woodchop, whip cracking and Miss Show Girl, displays of tapestry, photography and floral art, animal parades and much, much more.

- Showjumping commences at 8am.
- Judging in breed ring commences at 8.30am sharp.
- Ring one: inaugural show hunter feature including show hunter ponies, show hunter galloways and sho hunter hacks.
- Ring two: paint horses, quarter horses, colourama horses and AQHA "B" class/HSAA performance class (open to all breeds).
- Ring three: warmbloods, thoroughbreds, ansa and Australian stock horses.
- Ring four: palominos, buckskin/dun, pure bred Arabians, Arabian derivatives, Arabian under saddle class, standard breeds and heavy horses.
- Ring five: welsh mountain pony, shetland pony, Australian stud ponies, Australian saddle ponies, Australian riding ponies,
Friday 28 May afternoon
- Ring two: pony hacks.
- Ring three: galloway hacks and novelties.

- Ring two: pony hacks, junior rider classes and large pony hacks.
- Ring three: harness.
- Ring four: miniature ponies.

Natural fibres creations
Competition classes include senior school, adult outfit, creative outfit, calico capers adult outfit and kids self made active wear, costume party and showtime.
