COFFS songstress Jesse Emmanuel is one step closer to stardom with the official release of her video clip, ‘Don’t Touch My Guitar’.

Filmed locally using friends, family and competition winners from the Coffs Coast, the film clip is now online and will hopefully be aired on the Country Music Channel.

“I’m really proud of it,” Ms Emmanuel said yesterday.

She said the video was light and funny and portrays the idea that music and the passion for playing it, particularly on a prized possession such as a guitar, can bring people of all walks of life together.

“Michael Golsby of Saltwater Video Productions and I began filming in October last year and has been growing and changing ever since,” she said.

“There are a few little jokes and hilarious product placements in the clip that I have worked so hard on for the past few months.

“I want to take it to the next level and have a hit song on the Country Music Channel.”

After talking with the head honcho at the Country Music Channel, Ms Emmanuel is set to ship the video out for addition to its playlist and to be broadcast in the next couple of weeks.

Her debut album ‘Everything I Know So Far...’ is available on iTunes and in good music stores such as Park Beach Music & Hi Fi.
