Cassar-Daley, Urban tipped for awards

Country music superstar Keith Urban.
TROY Cassar-Daley and Keith Urban have been named the major contenders at the 2010 Tamworth Country Music Awards.
Cassar-Daley is nominated for a swag of six trophies, including single and album of the year, Male Artist of the Year and APRA Song of the Year.
Hot on his heels with four nominations, international superstar Urban will also compete in those categories.

Cassar-Daley said the two shared a friendly rivalry.
"I'll have to email him tonight and say, 'hey we got some nominations'," he told AAP.
"He'd be pretty chuffed. It's just nice to know that friends are all in there together."
Songstress Amber Lawrence picked up three nominations, as did Adam Brand.
The winners of the 38th Country Music Awards of Australia will be announced on January 23 in Tamworth.
