Marge Simpson to grace Playboy cover
10th October 2009
Marge Simpson.
PLAYBOY magazine is turning over its cover to the matriarch of TV's first family of cartoons - Marge Simpson.
It's a first for the magazine, which has had everyone from Marilyn Monroe to Cindy Crawford to even the likes of Jerry Seinfeld on the cover. But it's never had a cartoon character before.
Marge and her bee hive of bright blue hair are set to grace the cover of the November issue of Playboy. It will hit the newsstands October 16.
Marge isn't going to bare all, though, as the magazine says there will only be "implied nudity" in the three-page pictorial.
New Playboy CEO Scott Flanders says the idea is to attract readers in their 20s to a magazine where the average reader's age is 35.

this is a disgrace,
perverts read playboy and run this filth now they are taking an innocent cartoon which appeals to kids and are using it as some kind of cheap gimmick to attract kids and get pervs buying it again rather than hiding on their home internet trawling through the online smut in their secreted sordid perverted worlds
shame on those pervs who require porn
shame on playboy
shame on the rights holders of the simpsons
oldskool74 don't be such a prude.
If you are brainless enough to watch the Simpsons, then you might buy the magazine.
Marge is a great sexpot, good on ya Marge.
To Marge
For years I have watched you on television. Admired your curves, your soft yellow skin and beautiful face.
Your dress sense is impeccable, your green dress always hugs your sexy body like a glove. And what about the pink chanel dress you wore to try and get into the country club. Whoa, classy.
You know I always looked forward to the 'adults only' episodes of The Simpsons, waiting to see that elusive bit of skin you usually hide so modestly and the naughty stuff Homer and yourself get up to.
I just wanted to say thanks for joining with playboy to show off what all your loyal fans have appreciated for so long.
Thanks Marge. You could cougar me any day.

I would have preferred Lois Griffin.
