Queensland Premier Anna Bligh arrives at the corruption trial of former state MP Gordon Nuttall.
QUEENSLAND premier Anna Bligh has arrived at court to give evidence in the Gordon Nuttall corruption trial.
Nuttall, 56, has pleaded not guilty to 35 counts of receiving $300,000 in secret commissions from Macarthur Coal founder Ken Talbot between 2002 and 2005.
He has also pleaded not guilty to one count of receiving a one-off $60,000 secret commission from Harold Shand in April 2002.
Ms Bligh will give evidence on the second day of his trial in the Brisbane District Court.
She is just one of several high-profile witnesses - including former premier Peter Beattie - to give evidence for the prosecution.
