THE mother of two of Michael Jackson's children says the late superstar entertainer was not the father of her kids.

Debbie Rowe, a former dermatology clinic receptionist, made the admission during an interview with News of the World.

She said she had been artificially inseminated with another man's sperm to provide Jackson with the 'gift' of a child, after the two became friendly during Jackson's frequent visits to the clinic.

"Michael was divorced, lonely and wanted children. I was the one who said to him, 'I will have your babies'." Rowe said.

"I was comfortable with him. I offered him my womb. We were close enough that I knew I could offer him that, so I did. It was a gift.

"I was just the vessel. It wasn't Michael's sperm."

The couple shocked the world in 1996 with their rushed marriage ceremony at the Sheraton Hotel in Sydney, a marriage Rowe said was entirely for the cameras.

"He wanted to pretend that we were a family. But we never lived together as a couple. We never had sex. He was on the road, doing his thing.

"He never wanted to live with me. That's why he bought me a house. There was always 'my house' and 'his house', never 'our house'.

"We would jump in bed together and read magazines and watch movies, with all the animals around us before the kids were involved. We used to hang out with each other.

"But that was his life. That's Michael. That was what it was like."

Jackson broke off the marriage after three years following the painful birth of their second child, Paris, which left Rowe "all torn up inside" and unable to bare more children.

She said it was at that stage the Jackson ended their relationship and paid her $9 million over nine years in exchange for custody of the children.

"I got paid for it, and I've moved on. I know I will never see my children again."

Rowe admitted she was never a good mother and said she never wanted to see her children again.

Speculation is now mounting over who would take care of Jackson’s children, with the most likely candidates to be his 80-year-old mother Katherine and children's nanny, 42-year-old Grace Rwaramba.

The mother of Jackson’s third child, Prince II, has always remained a mystery.
