Tweed flooding chaos photos

Flood waters swept a car out into the surf at Currumbin.
THE clean-up effort has begun after Mother Nature unleashed her full fury on the Tweed on Wednesday night.
Near-cyclonic winds uprooted trees and caused countless damage to homes and buildings along the coast.
Emergency services authorities were busy clearing debris from our roads early Thursday and Country Energy workers were trying to restore power to more than 16,000 households.
